Barber Motorsports Park was the track for the 2012 WERA Grand National Finals. This is an invite only, National competition where the top riders from each region compete for National bragging rights and big trophies. The weekend before the races, I decided to attend a Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy (JDSA) event through Sportbike Track Time (STT). This onboard video is from Jason DiSalvo himself following me to dissect my riding after the session in the classroom. With the help of the Academy, I was able to finish very strong in my races. I achieved two 2nd places in the packed grids of the 600 classes, two 4th places in the 1000 class, and a 6th & 11th place finish in the 750 class. I raced my 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R in these separate categories and managed to finish ahead of many riders using a bike that has anywhere from 10-80HP less than my competition.
